MR. Bong Boon Fah
(Chairman and Director) |
| Mr. Bong Boon Fah,
a Malaysian, aged 52, was appointed as a Director
of Tai Kwong Yokohama Berhad on 29 March 1995 and
as a Chairman on 17 November 2000. Mr. Bong graduated
with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Public
Administration from University Nanyang, Singapore
in 1971. He then embarked on his research career
at Leeds University, Oxford University and London
University in the United Kingdom in the 70's and
80's. Mr. Bong was awarded a Bachelor of Law Degree
with Honours by the University of London in 1984.
He was called to the Malaysian Bar and Sarawak Bar
respectively in 1987 and he has been a practicing
lawyer since. Mr. Bong is a National Council Member
cum Chairman of the Legal Committee of the Associated
Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia,
a position he has held since 1999. He is also a
Director of several other private limited companies
in Malaysia. Mr. Bong has
no family relationship with any Director and/or
major shareholder of the Company. He does not
have any conflict of interest with the Company
and has not been convicted of any offences within
the past 10 years. |

MR. Chow Siew Hon
(Managing Director) |
| Mr. Chow Siew Hon,
a Malaysian, aged 56, was appointed as a Managing
Director of Tai Kwong Yokohama Berhad on 29 March
1995. He has been a member of the Audit Committee
since 31 March 1995. Mr. Chow has over 35 years
of working experience in the battery industry. His
involvement in the battery business started when
he joined his father in setting up the battery reconditioning
operation in Kuala Lumpur in 1967. Over the last
34 years he has been intensively involved in the
development of the Group to become a leading battery
manufacturer and distributor in Malaysia. Mr. Chow
is the Deputy Chairman of the IT Committee of the
Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala
Lumpur and Selangor, a position he has held since
2000. He is also a Director of several subsidiary
companies in the Group and also holds directorship
in several other private limited companies in Malaysia.
Mr. Chow is a Director and
shareholder of Tanjung Seleksi Sdn Bhd, a major
shareholder of the Company. Mr. Chow does not
have any conflict of interest with the Company
and has not been convicted of any offences within
the past 10 years. |

MR. Yeo Wee Thow
(Independent Non-Executive Director) |
Mr. Yeo Wee Thow,
a Malaysian, aged 54, was appointed as an Independent
Non-Executive Director of Tai Kwong Yokohama Berhad
on 29 March 1995 and he has been a member of the
Audit Committee since 31 May 1995. Mr. Yeo is
a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants,
a fellow member of the Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (UK) and an associate member
of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and
Administrators (UK). He owns a public accounting
firm in Kuala Lumpur that was set up in 1979.
He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director
cum Audit Committee member of OCI Berhad and UPA
Corporation Berhad. He is also a Director of several
other private limited companies in Malaysia.
Mr. Yeo has no family relationship
with any Director and/or major shareholder of
the Company. He does not have any conflict of
interest with the Company and has not been convicted
of any offences within the past 10 years.

Encik Abdul Rahim Bin Mohd
Zain

| Encik Abdul Rahim Bin
Mohd Zain, a Malaysian, aged 63, was appointed
as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Tai
Kwong Yokohama Berhad on 29 March 1995. He is the
Chairman of the Audit Committee having been appointed
to the position on 31 March 1995. He graduated with
a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from University
of Malaya in 1963 and he has served the Government
for over 31 years from 1963 to 1988. His last government
post was as Director-General of the Palm Oil Registration
and Licensing Authority (1988). He is also a Director
of several other private limited companies in Malaysia.
Encik Abdul Rahim
has no family relationship with any Director and/or
major shareholder of the Company. He does not
have any conflict of interest with the Company
and has not been convicted of any offences within
the past 10 years.

Encik Abdu'R-Rani Bin Omar

| Encik Abdu'R-Rani Bin
Omar, a Malaysian, aged 45, was appointed
as a Director of Tai Kwong Yokohama Berhad on 17
November 2000. Encik Abdu'R-Rani graduated with
a Bachelor of Business Adminitration with Honours
from University of Malaya in 1981. He is Executive
Chairman for the Teguh Group of Companies. The Group
is principally involved in the supply, delivery,
installation and commissioning of electrical substations
and other peripherals to the oil and gas industry.
He is also a Director of several other private limited
companies in Malaysia. Encik
Abdu'R-Rani has no family relationship with any
Director and/or major shareholder of the Company.
He does not have any conflict of interest with
the Company and has not been convicted of any
offences within the past 10 years.
